The gardeners of Colonial Williamsburg used hoophouses to protect their winter cole crops from freezing temperatures.  Jack decided to construct a hoop-house to protect vegetables such as kale, collards, turnips, carrots, onions and other hardy favorites we prefer to harvest fresh rather than purchase at the grocery.  Continue reading
